This was a while back, but it was awesome. A two parter, we started at the Nurburgring, our helicopter flying before sunrise as NIO chased the fastest lap for an EV supercar. We had the Nordschleife to ourselves for the day. It’s an incredible circuit, the “green hell”, but we got the track record, for the fastest EV on the planet. For Part 2, we chartered two private planes to get the team and all our gear out to the technical proving ground at Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France.
